Important Notes

  • The G70 uses BDC2 (second generation Body Domain Controller) instead of BDC — module paths differ from G20/G30/G05
  • Many luxury comfort features (automatic doors, crystal headlights) are option-dependent and require the physical hardware to be present
  • The new Theatre Screen rear display has its own module (RSE2) with limited third-party tool support currently
  • E-Sys PSdZData version 4.45.20+ is generally required for G70 coding

Also Applies To

The G70 platform and its modules are shared with:

  • G60 — 5 Series (2024+)
  • i5 — electric 5 Series
  • i7 — electric 7 Series (same chassis, different drivetrain modules)

Most BDC2 and HU_MGU2 coding from the G70 applies to these models as well.
